John Slater qualified as an exhibition and museum designer in 1982, having previously studied Spanish and product design in Barcelona. In 1991 John formed The Northcross Group, which under his leadership, achieved a turnover of circa £5m.

John now focusses on the strategic and management elements of projects, and he enjoys the challenge of writing copy for websites and other promotional material, whilst continuing with his involvement in the preparation of business and marketing plans.
